Local residents elected to MDCCMA board

Miami Lakes residents Ramiro Inguanzo and Juan Carlos (J.C.) Jimenez were elected as the president and vice president of the Miami-Dade City/County Management Association (MDCCMA), a professional association of city administrators from Miami-Dade County which promotes closer intergovernmental relationships amongst all municipalities within the county.
Inguanzo is the Deputy Manager for Bal Harbour Village and previously worked for the City of Miami Beach. He is a former two-term president of the MDCCMA having served as president in 2007-2009. He is also a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Management Association (ICMA).
Jimenez was appointed Town Manager of Bay Harbour Islands in 2018, a town he has worked for since 2002. This past year, he served as the secretary of MDCCMA. He received his Credentialed Manager designation from the ICMA in 2017.
The other elected board officers are Angela Gasca from the Village of Pinecrest and Kathryn Matos from the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
The newly elected officials were installed at the Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour on June 22.
