Main Street Live!, the series of free concerts held downtown from January through May, has ended its season.
Cultural Affairs Committee Chair Felicia Salazar says the shows will resume next winter if the town council funds them. The concerts were also presented by The Graham Companies; the Economic Development Committee and Main Street Merchants.
Fans include Julio Menendez and friends, who attended the show on May 15.
“Nothing better than coming out to Main Street Live in Miami Lakes to enjoy a great family event filled with live music, good vibes, and even better company,” Julio Menendez said in an email.
“Events like these are what make our community so special. Neighbors coming together, kids playing, friends catching up and everyone simply enjoying the atmosphere. And of course, the perfect way to end the evening is by sitting down with family and friends for a great meal at one of our amazing local restaurants. Supporting local businesses while making memories with the people around you is what Miami Lakes is all about.”
