State Representative Manny Diaz Jr. gave a virtual tour of the Florida House of Representatives Chamber to Bob Graham Education Center students via Skype. The 27 students are from the Civic Engagement Academy taught by Ingy Cruz. Students asked questions about policy regarding the cardiac health of high school athletes and the importance of making parents aware of the benefits of an EKG for their student. “This was a great opportunity to engage students from my district,” said Diaz. “Using technology like Skype can keep people involved in the political process in the Florida Legislature.”
