Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid recently endorsed longtime resident Eleane Sosa-Bruzon in her bid for Miami-Dade County Court Judge. Sosa-Bruzon, a Cuban-American who is the first in her family to graduate from college, earned her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, and she has practiced law as a criminal defense attorney for the public defender’s office and civil litigation for six and half years. She’s running in Group 33 in the county’s August 28 primary election.
