At the December 1 Town Council meeting, Miami Lakes lawmakers recognized various community members for their athleticism and participation in town programs. Jessica Sibori and Juan Marte earned a black belt in the martial arts program. Students in the first ever adult archery course completed an intensive 16-week program. Alexander Ariano, Daniel Gonzalez, Hope Reynolds, Julien Bencomo, Travis Bell and Trimika Bell were recognized for their commitment to the sport.
