Town of Miami Lakes will host a free business workshop, “How to do Business with Miami-Dade Public Schools,” from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 31, at the Miami Lakes Optimist Club-house, 6411 N.W. 162 Street.
The workshop will be presented by M-DCPS Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO). The OEO promotes the economic development and growth of Small/Micro Business Enterprises and Minority/ Women Business Enterprises through its certification program, community outreach programs, contract review and monitoring activities, in addition to ongoing interaction with other municipal agencies, quasipublic agencies, and the local marketplace.
