The Town of Miami Lakes has launched a marketing campaign aimed at attracting new businesses. “Where Business Grows” is the tagline for the campaign which began this month to showcase the benefits of doing business in Miami Lakes.
“We’ve worked hard to cultivate a diverse, business-friendly community over the years,” said Mayor Manny Cid. “Through this campaign, we’re looking to solidify our position as the premiere business address of choice in South Florida.
“This campaign is all about ‘brand awareness’ and taking it to the next level,” Cid said. “Over the past several years, our brand has taken some hits, but with all the great things that are happening now, this will help to improve our property values and our value of life.
“Our town offers many advantages to companies of all shapes and sizes, from our centralized location and diverse employee base, to competitive leasing rates and room to grow.
“The campaign was an initiative of Councilmember Ceasar Mestre and is a public-private partnership between the Town and The Graham Companies and The Easton Group. If the effort proves to have successful value, we will try to budget a similar program for the next budget cycle.
“From personal experience, I can attest that this vibrant, safe community is a great place to raise a family and grow your business,” Cid added.
Miami Lakes-based employers including BankUnited, Inktel and Gerardo’s Marketplace are featured as part of the new creative campaign, developed by Coral Gables-based Ronin Advertising Group.
In addition to the logo and tagline, the campaign includes paid advertising with a print, broadcast and digital media mix; a social media blitz; email marketing blasts; and a website with video testimonials and resources for employers considering a move to Miami Lakes.
