Miami Lakes to hold virtual public meetings

The town of Miami Lakes will continue to hold municipal meetings during the coronavirus pandemic.
In an effort to keep the virus from spreading in the community, town hall will remain closed.
Meetings of the council, planning and zoning board and a workshop on town investments will all be livestreamed and available to watch on social media and the town website.
Public participation will be allowed.
Meetings can be viewed at https://www.miamilakes-fl.gov/meetings.
Public comments will be heard at the beginning of meetings and once all are heard, those portions of the proceedings will be closed.
Anyone wishing to submit a public comment remotely must join the meeting at https://www.miamilakes-fl.gov/remotecomments.
Each speaker will be allowed three minutes to speak and in order to participate, should have a functioning microphone and web camera.
