Miami Lakes town staff participates in town leadership programs

Miami Lakes Chief of Operations Tony Lopez was selected for the Miami Foundation’s Miami Fellows Class X, a leadership program which identifies individuals who have made an impact on their community.

The program develops a deeper understanding of effective leadership while learning about civic issues and ways to solve them. Lopez is set to graduate in December.

Communications and Economic Development manager Charisma Glassman graduated from the Greater Miami Chamber’s Leadership Miami program which offers participants an opportunity to meet Miami’s leaders and share intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills.

Glassman’s team #RiseUp305 won Best Team Award for making the most impact and contribution to the Miami community. Team #RiseUp305 focused on bringing awareness to Sex-trafficking and support a local organization Glory House of Miami.
