With early voting already underway for the August 30 primary election, the League of Women Voters (LWVF) announced the released of nonpartisan online voter guides prepared by local Leagues throughout the state.
“The League of Women Voters of Florida has always been committed to providing voters with accurate, nonpartisan information,” said LWVF president Pamela Goodman. “Much like our organization, these voters guides have been prepared at the grassroots level, by our hardworking local leagues.
“While local elections are just as important as statewide races, a good deal of voters know considerably less about the local races that affect them in their own backyard. Be Ready to Vote is here for these voters,” she said.
The League of Women Voters has never endorsed any candidate or political party. These voters guides are available free to the general public under Election Guides at BeReadyToVote.org, and VamosAVotar.org.
