The Optimist Club of Miami Lakes is holding registration for its youth basketball program for summer league play for girls and boys on Saturdays, April 14, 21 and 28, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Miami Lakes Optimist Park, 6411 N.W. 162 Street.
The registration cost is $160 per person.
Tryouts for all players are scheduled between 9 a.m. and noon, on Saturday, May 5 at Barbara Goleman High School, 14100 N.W. 89 Avenue. The players’ draft will be held on Saturday, May 12.
Summer league games will start on Monday, June 11 at Goleman and Hialeah Gardens High School, 11700 Hialeah Gardens Boulevard.
