Monsignor Edward Pace High senior Delina Souffrant was among a group of selected students who participated in the FBI and FBI Miami Citizens Academy Alumni Association Summer Youth Academy, which was hosted by Miami-Dade College.

For six days, Souffrant and her peers took part in a host of education programs that highlight the inner-workings of the FBI organization as a career, while building positive relationships, decision-making and goal setting skills, and college and career planning.

The students qualified for the program by maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher and a 750-word essay on why they should be selected to attend the program. Souffrant received a certificate upon completion of the program that was made possible through scholarships from FBI Miami CAAA, which cover tuition, uniforms, classroom supplies, lunch and field trips.
