Miami Lakes Public Safety Committee (PSC) will host an Identity Theft Protection and Suspicious Behavior Reporting forum from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 14, at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
At 10 a.m., a panel of experts from Miami-Dade County Economic Crimes Bureau will discuss what financial information should be protected, how to protect yourself from identity theft and fraud, and what to do if you become a victim.
At 11 a.m., Miami-Dade Police Department’s Homeland Security Bureau-School Sector will discuss its “See Something, Say Something” initiative. The presentation will be followed by a question an answer session.
