Request a vote-by-mail ballot

     A change in Florida law requires voters to request a mail-in ballot each year.

     Registered voters may ask to receive a mail-in ballot on the Miami-Dade County elections website, or by email, phone, fax or mail.

      Mail-in ballots must be requested by 5 p.m. on the 10th day before an election, but why wait? Request it now so there is no delay.

     The county also has a helpful video on its website that describes any scenario -- questions about signatures and required identification as well as how to fill out the paperwork and ballot.

     It also describes how to submit a completed ballot and to track its progress as it moves through the system.
