Feeding South Florida and Miami Lakes officials will provide food to anyone who arrives Friday at Royal Oaks Park.
The hunger relief effort will be held from 10 a.m. until supplies last at the park, at 16500 NW 87th Ave.
Distribution of food at the park on April 17 drew 500 cars, Mayor Manny Cid said.
Though some of the cars on the line were luxury models, they may belong to middle-class families who may not be eligible for government safety net programs like food stamps and other benefits, Cid said.
He expects at least that many drivers to show up on Friday.
Police will not allow cars to line up before dawn near the park, at 16500 NW 87 Ave.
Previous giveaways of food and groceries across the country have drawn long lines of cars, too.
From March 15 through April 22, Miami-Dade County residents have made 66,842 unemployment applications related to the COVID-19 virus, the state says.
