Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee is inviting seniors to join them for a “Blast from the Past” as they host the 20th Century Senior Social luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Miami Lakes residents 55 years and older can celebrate through the decades – from the roaring 20’s to the Millennial era of the ’90s – as they come decked out with their Flapper dresses, disco gear or ’50’s poodle skirts and leather jackets.
