Town of Miami Lakes, in partnership with the Northern Miami-Dade Solar Co-op and FL SUN, will host a solar information session beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, in Town Hall Council Chambers, 6601 Main Street.
Neighbors in communities including Country Club of Miami, Miami Gardens, Opa-Locka, West Little River, Brownsville, El Portal, Miami Shores and North Miami, have formed the Northern Miami-Dade Solar Co-op to make it easier to save money on the purchase of solar panels while building a community of local solar supporters.
Attendees are invited to learn about solar energy, as well has how the Solar Co-op simplifies the process of going solar while providing a discount through its bulk purchasing power.
