STU awards degree to Cid

 Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid celebrated an academic achievement.

     He completed a Master of Arts degree in Ethical Leadership from St. Thomas University.

     The school says it’s a blended program of 36 credits, meaning courses can be taken in person and online. 

     Cid earned his degree in December and received his diploma in May.

     He is shown at left with his daughter Hailey America, then 16 months.
