Miami Lakes Youth Center “The Spot” has several unique events lined up during July for youngsters in middle and high school.
On Friday, July 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. it’s “A Knight of Chess.” Don’t know how to play chess, participants can learn and be playing in no time.
On Wednesday, July 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., it’s “Plague Inc. Game Night.” This promises to be an epic gaming night with Plague Inc., the award-winning game of strategy and realistic simulation. Tablets will be provided so youth can play for fun.
It’s Field Day at Miami Lakes Optimist Park on Saturday, July 16. Games will include kickball, corn hole and everything in between. A great way to leave the electronics at home and spend the day playing with friends.
