In the August 3 edition of The Miami Laker, in the story “Residents Pack Town Hall with Blasting Concerns,” public comment speaker Abel Fernandez indicated his remarks were inaccurate when he addressed the Town Council.
He said he did research and discovered Miami Lakes council members never took money (campaign contributions) from the rock miners’ lobbyists but politicians above them in Tallahassee have accepted their money.
