For the past three years, Miami Lakes and Miami-Dade Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. have partnered to bring County services to Town Hall. This year’s event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
The county’s Transit Department will be on hand to assist seniors in obtaining Golden Passport Easy Cards which provides free county public transportation for seniors 65 and older. The county Elections Department will be present to provide voter registration updates like political party and name changes, absentee ballot requests, and voter card replacement in preparation for the November 2016 elections.
Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) will be distributing free Sunpasses for attendees. Also, Walgreens will be on hand to provide free flu shots and vaccinations.
