Town Lawmakers read to children during library's 'Reading Circle'

Miami Lakes Branch Library, in partnership with Read to Learn Books for Free, held a Reading Circle recently in celebration of reading and music. Special presenters included Miami Lakes Mayor Michael Pizzi and Councilmember Manny Cid who read their favorite children’s stories out loud. Read to Learn Books for Free collects children’s books throughout Miami-Dade County and distributes them to children in need. Miami Lakes residents are encouraged to bring new and gently used children’s books to the branch library, 6699 Windmill Gate Road, to donate to Read to Learn Books for Free.
