Town marks 15th anniversary with public event on Dec. 5

The Miami Lakes community is invited to join elected officials as they celebrate the 15th year Anniversary of the Town of Miami Lakes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, at Miami Lakes Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.

The fun-filled event for the whole family will feature live entertainment, food trucks, carnival rides, a skating rink, photo booth and more.

The event, activities, and rides are free, but event organizers are encouraging residents to bring unwrapped toys to be donated to His House Children’s Home.

Local schools and organizations participating in the event include the Bob Graham Education Center Bobcat Jumpers and Bobcat Law Society, the MLK-8 Center Salsa Squad, Hialeah Miami Lakes High band, Miss Hispanidad, and Miami Dancity.

The event is sponsored in part of The Graham Companies, GreenSource Landscape & Sports Turf, Gestido Construction, LLC, SFM, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., Baptist Health, County Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr., and Miami Lakes Auto Mall.
