The Town of Miami Lakes and the ETC Institute, an independent consulting firm, are polling residents for their opinions about what it’s like to live here.
Some property owners have received surveys mailed to their homes.
If you didn’t receive one, there is also an opportunity to respond online.
The questions are about the town’s quality of life and where improvements may be made.
Respondents are asked about interacting with town staff; where they get news about Miami Lakes; the performance of town services such as police, code enforcement, the building and planning departments and what parts of infrastructure – sidewalks, tree canopy, streetlights, etc. – most need improvement.
The questions drill down on subjects such as traffic and parks too, topics that are routinely discussed by residents during the public comment section of town meetings.
