Town Park Clean Up set for Sept. 30 opportunity for community service hours

Government Wednesday, September 27, 2017

As part of the National Environmental Education Foundation’s National Public Lands Day (NPLD), Miami Lakes Youth Council is sponsoring a Town Park Clean Up on Saturday, September 30.

Volunteers will meet at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue at 10 a.m. The Town Moover will transport volunteers around Town to clean up various neighborhood parks until 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

NPLD is the national’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands. Bring family, friends, students, or coworkers to spend the day outdoors giving back to the community. The clean up effort will help ensure Miami Lakes continues “growing beautifully” for generations to come.
Registration is required. Contact thespot@miamilakes-fl.gov or visit www.miamilakes-fl.gov/thespot.
