During the May 1 regular Town Council meeting, Mayor Manny Cid and councilmembers recognized Miami Lakes business, National Molding, located at 14427 N.W. 60 Avenue, for receiving the “Manufactured of the Year” honor by South Florida Manufacturing Association (SFMA) in all of South Florida in the 201+ employees category.
The award was presented at the 39th Annual SFMA’s Recognition of Excellence Awards Banquet held in mid-March at the Signature Grand in Davie. The Awards celebrate the excellence in manufacturing by recognizing both individuals and companies who demonstrated excellence through the Manufacturer of the Year and Employee of the Year processes.
Among those present at the Town’s recognition were National Molding’s COO Bill Ringling, Human Resource manager Anthony Pepe, Plant manager and Quality and Safety Department’s Mark Kindell, Engineering and Tools Department’s Frank Hudoletnjak, and SFMA president Matthew Rocco.
