Town seeks police reserve officers

Miami Lakes along with the Miami-Dade Police Department are looking for police reserve officers who are certified police officers who choose to work as volunteers in a sworn capacity in a variety of assignments in the Town.
Held to the same standards, police reserve officers work alongside full-time officers to assist the Department’s efforts in the prevention and detection of crime and general enforcement of laws. The reserve officers will also perform those vital functions that are necessary to assist full-time officers in emergency situations.
