Town seeks professional artists to serve on Clubhouse public art advisory committee

Government Friday, August 4, 2017

Miami Lakes is looking for professional artists to serve as volunteers on a Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) for the design of the Town’s new Optimist Park Clubhouse public art project.
The PAC will be responsible for assisting the Town with the review and recommendation of applications submitted through the Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places Call to Artist process.

The time commitment is estimated to be a few hours per month in the evenings beginning mid-August through October.

This volunteer opportunity is a resume builder and a chance to get involved in the Miami Lakes community and to make a difference while learning more about government and its processes.
For those interested in serving on the PAC, send a letter of interest and resume to Jeremy Bajdaun, Parks and Athletics manager, at Bajdaunj@miamilakes-fl.gov, or call 305-364-6100 ext. 1239 for more information. The deadline to submit is Friday, August 11.
