Mayor Wayne Slaton, accompanied by the Miami Lakes Town Council and Veteran’s Committee, stand in front of the Government Center where a new Veteran’s Memorial is to be built during the coming year.
Their goal is to create awareness for the Veteran’s Committee which is selling bricks to honor loved ones that will be placed in the walkway around the memorial. The bricks cost $100 for one customizable 4” x 8” brick.
