Want to be a “SPOOKTASTIC” volunteer at the Youth Activities Task Force’s annual Halloween event, “Nightmare on Montrose,” on Saturday, October 27?
A total of 75 high school volunteers are needed and volunteer registration is on a first come, first served basis. Volunteers must attend three dates to receive their community service hours:
• Wednesday, October 10, 6 to 8 p.m.
• Friday, October 26, 3 to 6 p.m.
• Saturday, October 27, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (event day)
The meetings and the event will be held at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.

Local businesses can also participate by becoming a sponsor of the “Nightmare on Montrose” Halloween spectacular which draws more than 3,000 people and features a costume contest, trick-or-treat around-the-clock, a scare zone and pumpkin decorating.
