Winter break for school children is just around the corner and Miami Lakes, in partnership with PEAR and the YMCA will be offering Winter Break camps starting Tuesday, December 27, to Friday, January 6.
Camps will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Both organizations also offer afterschool care programs from 2 to 6 p.m. during the school year with transportation available.
PEAR’s Winter Camp will take place at Miami Lakes East Park Youth Center, 6075 Miami Lakes Drive East. The YMCA’s Winter Camp will be held at the Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
