Avengers win USSSA trophy

The Miami Lakes 8U Avengers, a baseball travel team from the Optimist Club of Miami Lakes, won the 2020 United States Specialty Sports Association Winter Classic Tournament Championship on Jan. 26 at Babcock Park in Hialeah. The Avengers defeated the Miami 8U Mustangs, 5-3, to win the tournament title in their age division.
