The Miami Dolphins brought a little football, a little music, a little dancing, and a whole lot of fun to their Hometown Huddle event Tuesday, October 18 at Bob Graham Education Center.
October is National Bullying Prevention month and along with representatives from PACER.org, the Dolphins helped students learn how to stop and report a bully. Former Dolphin players Troy Drayton and Lousaka Polite spoke to the students and ran them through drills at the Jr. Dolphin training camp. Current Dolphin cheerleaders taught groups of students a dance routine.
In the school cafeteria, former Dolphin and University of Miami player, Twan Russell and the Dolphins mascot, T.D. had students dancing and cheering while delivering the Dol-Fit message which focused on education, nutrition and making correct choices.
