Eagle Scout project leads to Optimist Park spruce up

Miami Lakes Boy Scouts Luca Romagnoli and Ricardo Santana from Troop 529 recently completed one of their Eagle Scout projects, giving a touch up to Miami Lakes Optimist Park. Romanoli refurbished the batting cages and Santana painted the basketball courts at the town’s oldest and decrepit recreation park. “MLOP has needed some TLC for sometime now and these two young men stepped up to help our town,” said Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid.
