EX-STU hoops star joins pro club in Argentina

Former St. Thomas University men's basketball player Raheem Bowman recently signed a professional contract to play for Club Argentino de Junin of Junin, Buenos Aires in Argentina.

 Last season with the Bobcats, the New York native, who lived in Country Club of Miami, averaged 15.2 points and 12.5 rebounds per game during his senior year, and he ranked fourth in NAIA Division II in total rebounds-per-game and defensive rebounds per game at 9.20.

 He also ranked eighth nationally in field goal percentage (.629). In his three-year career at St. Thomas, Bowman scored 991 points and grabbed 788 rebounds.
