FIU soccer players drafted to the pros

Three graduates of Florida International University were drafted by professional soccer teams.
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC selected Panthers’ goalkeeper Daniel Gagliardi, (top right) as the No. 32 overall pick in the second round of January’s Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft for 2020, according to FIU.
Gagliardi of Plantation graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
The Orlando SC chose defender Nick O’Callaghan (second photo) of Winter Springs, Fla. the No. 57 overall pick in the third round.
Andrew Booth, of Tamarac, (bottom right) graduated from University High School. He will play for Minnesota United FC and was the No. 96 overall pick in the fourth round.
