FIU star pitcher Logan Allen still rewarded for an outstanding year

Florida International University pitcher Logan Allen’s stellar 2019 season is still being rewarded as the Panther ace was selected to the 2019 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I Central All-Region Second Team by the members of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Allen, who has already been named to the All-CUSA First Team and invited to the USA Baseball National Team Camp this summer, built on his freshman All-American campaign in 2018 by leading all of C-USA with 120 Ks in 84 innings pitched for a 12.86 Ks-per-9 innings ratio to place in the top 15 in the nation in that category. His pitching prowess was on display when the Deltona, Florida native went 32.2 innings without surrendering an earned run to start league play.
