Florida International University senior defensive tackle Imarjaye Albury has accepted an invitation to the 2017 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
The game takes place on Saturday, January 21 at StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Wrapping up his senior year with the Panthers, Albury recorded 38 total tackles (13 solo) with 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack. The Miami product also notched a quarterback hurry and recovered a fumble.
He played in all 12 games in 2016 (starting 11) and notched three or more tackles in eight contests, including a career-high six at Old Dominion on November 26. He began the year with a then-career-high five tackles versus Indiana in September.
A three-year starter on the defensive line, Albury finished his FIU career with 76 total tackles (29 solo) with 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in 36 appearances.
