From Miami Lakes to the Paris 2024 Olympics?

    Jimmer Fredette (in the first photo) and Celeste Taylor were among the athletes who trained at the Miami Lakes Athletic Club in June during USA Basketball’s latest visit to the 

facility. USA Basketball is using the club as one of its training bases for the 3x3 national team program leading up to the Paris Olympics to be held in France July 26 - August 11, 2024. 

     Fredette is a former NBA lottery pick and Associated Press men’s college player of the year. Taylor is about to play her final year of college basketball at Ohio State. 

     It was the fourth training visit by USA Basketball’s teams, who are scheduled to return July 18 - 21. The workouts are not open to the public.
