Hialeah High’s boy’s soccer team snapped Barbara Goleman’s four-game winning streak with a 3-1 victory last week, dropping the Gators to 5-2, 2-1 in district play.
Following Goleman’s opening season loss to division rival Miami Springs, the Gators won four straight games to stay atop of the district, while the Golden Hawks fell to 3-4, 2-2 in district play as of November 23.
The Gators shut out Hialeah Educational Academy, 4-0, and defeated Mourning (1-0), Norland (5-0), Coral Shores (4-2) and Ronald Reagan (9-6).
Goleman tries to bounce back against conference rival Hialeah Miami Lakes (1-2-1, 1-3 in district) on November 29.
