Lady Lions spike competition

After winning its third district championship, Mater Academy High School girls volleyball team opened up the regionals with a 3-0 victory over Martin County High School’s Tigers.
The Lady Lions (20-1) will face Doral Academy in the regional semifinals on
Tuesday, Oct. 29, according to MaxPreps.

Mater Academy got to the regionals after a 3-0 victory over Hialeah Senior High School in the semifinal and by defeating Our Lady of Lourdes Academy 3-0, in the final.
