Stephen A. Rodriguez, son of Miami Lakes residents Paul and Ibis Rodriguez and grandson of Esteban and Magda Minsal, participated in Week 4 at the Cooperstown Dream Park Tournament in Cooperstown, New York. Rodriguez is a member of the 12U Weston Rattlers Black. The Rattlers were 6-0 in seeded games and were tied for 7th place in a field of 104 teams. The Rattlers were eliminated in the round of 32 in a tough 9-8 loss but Stephen finished with a .444 batting average, 3 HR, 2 doubles, 3 singles, and 13 RBI for the tournament. He will be entering 8th grade at Mater Lakes Academy in this fall.
