Miami Lakes Golf Club hosts Member/Guest Tourney

     Greg Betancourt and Bill Topliff were the overall champions of the 2023 Member/Guest Tournament at Miami Lakes Golf Course held from Oct. 12-14. The tournament featured 16 two-player teams. Betancourt put his team ahead in the overall title chase with a 22-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a three-hole playoff, and then Topliff essentially sealed the crown by sticking his tee shot from 145 yards to 2 feet on the next hole. 

     Other winners were J.P. Goshgarian and Mike Mills (McIlroy Flight) and Ruben Perez and Mitch Schneider (Woods Flight). The next major event at the course is the Member/Member Tournament in January. Photos courtesy of Miami Lakes Golf Course.
