Miami Lakes K-8 Center’s dance groups, the Salsa Squad and Dazzlers, and the school’s cheerleading team last week performed during halftime of the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets nationally televised game at American Airlines Arena. Heat fans usually grab a bite to eat and go for drinks during halftime but they stayed glued to their seats to watch the young dance groups’ performances on center court on the team’s logo. Teachers and parents were so proud of their kids and recorded and snapped pictures of their performances that would last them a lifetime.
