On April 24, The Graham Companies hosted the 43rd William “B” Graham Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting the South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, at Shula’s Golf Club.
The winning team was NorthMarq represented by Bob Harrington, Nick Heinzelmann, Jeff Robertson and Chris Prindle.
In second place was the South Florida Council and Great Waste and Recycling Service came in third.
The winning team members each received the prized, hand-made stained glass Cow trophy. Harrington won Closest to the Pin on the 17th Hole by making a Hole-in-One.
Gold Eagle sponsors included The Graham Companies, Publix Super Markets, and Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club. Silver Eagle sponsors included Marilyn K. Gaylord Trust - Kenneth G. Lancaster P.A., and BankUnited. Miami Lakes Auto Mall returned as the Hole-in-One sponsor.
This year’s tournament raised more than $30,000 for the benefit of the Boy Scouts South Florida Council which serves over 45,000 youth and their families in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
Last year, more than 150,000 community service hours were conducted by the Boy Scouts to help make their communities a better place. The South Florida Council offers year round programs to develop character, citizenship, leadership, life skills and fitness in youth.
