The Primary Gold basketball team (grades 3 and 4) from Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School defeated St. Patrick’s Catholic School 31-5 on January 14, followed by a victory over Immaculate Conception with a 35-5 win on January 16.
“In the first two games, the Cheetah’s Gold team demonstrated stellar teamwork and outstanding defense,” said OLL’s athletic director and coach German Garcia.
“Because of speed and the quickness of the Cheetahs defense, OLL was able to outscore their opponents 66-10, a +56 point margin,” he added.
Currently the Cheetahs Gold team is in first place in the All Catholic Conference North Division with a 2-0 record.
