The Miami Lakes Optimist Club will be holding registration for its Spring baseball and softball season during the first three Saturdays in January.
Boys and girls can sign up on January 3, 10 and 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Miami Lakes Middle School, 6425 Miami Lakeway North, which is adjacent to Miami Lakes Optimist Park.
Participants must bring copies of their birth certificates during the registration period, and be fitted for their uniforms.
The organization will have tryouts for all players starting on Monday, January 19 for 8-and-under players; Tuesday, January 20 for 10-and-under players; Wednesday, January 21 for 12-and-under players; and Thursday, January 14 for 14-and-under players.
The tryouts are scheduled at 6:30 p.m. each day at Optimist Park.
