The Miami Lakes Optimist Club recently concluded its Spring 2018 NFL Flag Football season. Over 350 children participated in the league this season, receiving trophies at the league's closing ceremony event on Saturday, May 19, at Royal Oaks Park.
Congratulations to the 6U age division champion Panthers, 8U division champion Vikings, 10U division champion Colts, 12U division champion Bengals, and 14U division champion Raiders.

The Optimist Club of Miami Lakes Flag Football program is a youth flag football league for kids ages 5-14 with games on Saturday mornings at Royal Oaks Park in Miami Lakes.
Practices are once or twice a week at night. Registration is $120 and includes a jersey, football equipment, and a seasonending trophy.
