School may be out for summer, but this has not stopped the Pace Spartan football team from working tirelessly to get ready for the upcoming season.

The Spartans have been preparing for the upcoming school year by focusing on team building skills as well as daily weight training and conditioning.

Pace Athletics director and head football coach Joe Zaccheo said the team is made up of dedicated students who “understand that hard work in the off season will pay off for the regular season.”

Pace’s first game of the season will be an away game against 8A team Boyd Anderson High School. The team’s first home game is scheduled for September 15 against Palm Glades Preparatory. All fans are invited to come throughout the season and show their support.
