Monsignor Edward Pace High School wrestlers Derrod Walker and Andrew Bradley delivered an impressive performance during regionals in their respective weight classes and then competed in the state tournament seeking to bring the school its’ second consecutive championship under Hall of Fame coach Frank Pelegri. Walker finished in third place, winning one match and losing two, while Bradley won three matches and lost two to finish in second place in his weight division. Said Pelegri: “A trip to the state tournament is a great deal. Other wrestlers from other schools didn’t qualify for the state tournament, and we had the opportunity to make that trip. It was well earned and well deserved.”
